All entries must be original work and not yet published - including self-published. There will be first, second, and third monetary prizes and the first prize story will be published online in the Live Wire Press Blog with a podcast interview of the winner. The monetary awards will depend on the number of submissions received. These will be announced on or after March 31, 2012 The cover is ready. The featured author will be the first prize winner. Two hundred fifty pages are waiting to be filled, so only a certain number of tales can be told in this volume.
Participating authors will be notified after March 31,2011. This edition has a theme - explained by the cover shown below. The entry period is from December 1, 2011 to March 31, 2012. Suitable entries will range from 2,000 to 5,000 words. Entry fee is $15 per story. No refunds. A panel of judges, when selected, will be posted. Qualified volunteers for this job are welcome.
